I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Labor Day!
As the summer winds down I think it is a good time to reflect and remember that all we have today is the result of the hard work and sacrifice of those before us.
Workers in this country endured terrible working conditions, long hours and poor wages throughout the nineteenth century. As a result the labor movement was born. We should never take their hard work for granted.
Lets all pick up their torch and continue the fight. We owe it to them and to those who follow.
Happy Labor Day!
