Brothers and Sisters,
It has come to my attention that managers at the site are once again misinterpreting our contract to make up for their lack of management skills. It shouldn't surprise me that this is happening, because every year during the fall season we have the same issues. Next Tuesday your monthly Union meeting is scheduled, and I will be there personally to discuss several issues that have become problematic.
I strongly suggest you all make an effort to attend, and I strongly suggest you all look within your group and find coworkers who can act as a shop steward to protect your rights. This is the same old song, at the same time of the year, if no one is willing to step up the abuse will continue. Do yourself a favor and read your negotiated agreement and know your rights, after all its your livelihood.
I expect to see you all next week, and I also expect you all to exercise your right to Vote.
